I’m Ready For Some Nice Sunshine And A Place To Find Some Rest And Relaxation
After weeks or months of working five days a week, I get to the point where I’d really like to find some warm weather by a pool or the beach and just park myself. Finding money in the budget for a vacation has been more challenging over the past year. Admittedly flying to exotic resorts may not be in our budgets this year. There are a few places with hot weather, hotels with pools, the beach and a few opportunities for saving a little money.
The first place that comes to mind is good old Southern California. There are pushing 100 miles of great accessible beaches between San Diego to Malibu, dozens of places where you can lay out your towel. The SoCal Vacation Guru website is one place where you can learn about San Diego attractions and beaches and find links to great resources related to the area. I think you’ll find many tips and good advice that you won’t find at other sources.
There are quite a few websites offering travel deals to fun warm-weather places like Southern California, and that includes Legoland discounts. If you’d like to go further south, you might want to look to Cancun in Mexico.
If you can find some Cancun hotel deals, you’ll find that resort city to offer beautiful water, blue sky and many nice resorts. The city includes a long peninsula with dozens of beachfront hotels. One thing that is not lacking in Cancun is warm weather.
There are a bunch of other resort cities in Mexico besides Cancun. Take a look at other places such as Anguilla and Antigua. But spend the time necessary to research carefully your intended destination, not only to ensure a safe and trouble-free trip but also to learn about the area to make the trip more fun. Of course the internet makes this kind of research amazingly easy; what did we do before the Web came along?
